The Stunning Hypocrisy of Obama and the Left

It’s only been a couple short weeks since the Messiah has taken office, and the displays of the blatant hypocrisy of Obama and the liberals have been numerous and stunning.

First we have Obama, a guy who intentionally lied to voters during the election season as he repeatedly spewed the vacuous promise of ”Change” when it came the issue of hiring lobbyists into his administration. This from the Politico:

Obama finds room for lobbyists

President Obama promised during his campaign that lobbyists “won’t find a job in my White House.”

So far, though, at least a dozen former lobbyists have found top jobs in his administration, according to an analysis done by Republican sources and corroborated by Politico.

Obama aides did not challenge the the list of lobbyists appointed to administration jobs, but they stressed that former lobbyists comprise a fraction of the more than 8,000 employees who will be hired by the new administration. And they pointed out that before Obama made his campaign-trail promise, he issued a more complete – and more nuanced – policy on former lobbyists.

Yet in the past few days, a number of exceptions have been granted, with the administration conceding at least two waivers and that a handful of other appointees will recuse themselves from dealing with matters on which they lobbied within the two-year window.

Yet, here we have Barack do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do Obama on tape during the campaign:

So there is no lobbyist BAN… a ban means no exceptions, not we’ll waive our rules any freakin’ time we damn well please.

Then we have this little gem… remember Obama, in his true Statist form, during the campaign say this:

Obama’s Oval Office Hypocrisy

The New York Times reported on Thursday, January 29 that:

“…the capital flew into a bit of a tizzy when, on his first full day in the White House, President Obama was photographed in the Oval Office without his suit jacket. There was, however, a logical explanation: Mr. Obama, who hates the cold, had cranked up the thermostat.

“He’s from Hawaii, O.K.?” said Mr. Obama’s senior adviser, David Axelrod, who occupies the small but strategically located office next door to his boss. “He likes it warm. You could grow orchids in there.”

Now he’s from Hawaii? I thought he was from Chicago, where they can take the cold much better than the wimps in DC. All you peasants out there… do as I say, not as I do.

Next we have the Obamarxist with another B. S. “BAN”… this time on Earmarks…. yeah…. riiigght… this from Obama’s own website:

No earmarks

President-elect Barack Obama said today in a meeting with members of his budget team that he will ban earmarks from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act that will soon go before Congress.

But wait… another so-called “BAN” goes down in flames with his first major piece of legislation…

I could go on folks, but I think you get the point. With the Statists in full control of DC, they are sprinting towards Soviet style rule…. where the central planners issue one set of rules for the unwashed masses, but live by an entirely different set of rules for themselves.
