McCain Primary Challenge! Time to Oust Another RINO.

- Scott Miller

mccainrinoConservatives got more great news today concerning the upcoming Senate races in 2010. This from CQ politics:

Border Activist Readies Primary Challenge to Arizona’s McCain

Anti-illegal immigration activist Chris Simcox is slated to announce Wednesday that he will challenge Arizona Sen. John McCain in a Republican primary in 2010.

“It’s time to help put Arizona and America back on the right track by electing Chris Simcox to represent the Great State of Arizona in the United States Senate,” the site says. “As a grass-roots, border security activist and founder of the original Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (MCDC), Chris has done more to make Arizona a safer and better place to live than most of the sanctimonious career politicians in Washington, D.C.”

The blue-bloods in the Republican party will laugh off this challenge, but If I were Senator McCain, I wouldn’t take this challenge too lightly. After all, conservatives will be nominating the candidates, and McCain has made a career out of sticking it to conservatives.

It will be an uphill fight, but one that Simcox can win. And mark my words… if John McCain loses this primary fight, he will run in the general election as an independent candidate… just like his BFF Senator Liberman.
