While Obama flies around the world trashing America on his apology tour, the French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, display his appreciation for America and the selfless sacrifices she has made beating back Eurpean tyrants. This from the Daily Mail:
Sarkozy lavishes U.S. with praise in Victory Day speech
French President Nicolas Sarkozy praised the American contribution to victory over Germany in World War Two today – with no mention of the British whatsoever.
Mr Sarkozy said he was looking forward to joining Mr Obama in remembering ‘so many young Americans who paid such a great price, who paid with their lives for the liberty of our country.’
‘We’ll share some time, in Normandy this time, on the beaches and we’re going to pay our respects in the cemeteries while there are many young Americans who paid such a great price, who paid with their lives for the liberty of our country.
‘The friendship with the United States in respect of the independence of France.
‘It’s moving when we see these youngsters, at their age, coming to die so far from their own countries to liberate a country which wasn’t theirs. We haven’t got the right to forget them.’
Here, here! If only our president had the same respect and adoration for America’s history of selfless sacrifice…
