The National Institutes of Health are paying researchers to cruise bars in Buenos Aires to find out why gay men engage in risky sexual behavior while drunk — and what can be done about it.

The National Institutes of Health are paying researchers to cruise six bars in Buenos Aires to find out why gay men engage in risky sexual behavior while drunk — and just what can be done about it.

“Targeting public venues in Buenos Aires where men meet, alcohol is consumed and sexual behavior occurs,” the project’s overview explains, “the goal of this 2-year exploratory study is to understand the various factors that contribute to the creation of a high risk sexual space.”

OK… lemme see… we are paying a handful “researchers” to cruise gay bars in Argentina in hope of doing valuable research? Me thinks it’s much more likely that we have a few government pervs getting paid to watch.

Look, give me the $400K, and I’ll settle it right now…instead of 2 years from now. They get drunk and engage in risky sex because that is what the freaks like to do to get off… at least they are not diddling little kids! I mean really, does it surprise anyone that the freaks out number the non-freaks? If I had a nickel for every freak out there… I’d be a very wealthy man indeed.
