While it took me a bit longer than I wanted to read Mark Levin’s latest book “Liberty and Tyranny“, I was finally able to finish it last night.
Trust me folks, if you haven’t read this book, you HAVE to get your hands on a copy!
This is quite simply the most important book of our times. It has been compared to Barry Goldwater’s “Conscience of a Conservative“, but it is more than that, it is better than that… it a easy to read road map to taking back our country from the Statists, the liberals, the DC socialist central planners.
With over one million books in print, and over 800,000 sold so far, this book will launch what will be an American “Awakening”. An event over the next few years in which normal, everyday, Americans finally say enough is enough to our federal and state governments. Enough to the central planners trying to dictate from afar your every move in life. Enough of the stealing of our liberty, in both small and large ways. Enough taxation. Enough government spending. Enough bailouts!
So what is so special about Mark’s book? Easy. Mark has managed to explain what true conservatism is, who the founders of the philosophy were and what they advocated, how the philosophy of conservatism matches up with the philosophy of the founding of our country, and how conservative principles apply to today’s challenges, in a clear yet brilliantly interesting read. It is quite an amazing piece of work, and that is why I call the book the most important book of our times.
It also explains why the book has been #1 on the NY Times best seller list for 13 of the past 14 weeks, and I suspect it will be there for quite some time.
Please understand that this book is not only a book for Conservatives and Republicans. In fact, it is a book that really needs to be read by Democrats and Independents, because there is almost no way, once an individual reads this book, that they will support the efforts of the Statist ever again. In fact, once you finish this book, there is no way that you can help but fear for the future of your country, and also no way that you’ll allow yourself to sit idly by while your government steals your liberty as they march this country into a form of soft tyranny.
