“Scott, where have you been? Have you left the fight?”

I’ve received a couple emails of that nature over the past few months. My answer is HELL NO I’m not leaving the fight… not by a long shot!

As regular readers know, my absence from the site has been primarily due to my family’s relocation. After 3 years on the market, we finally received an offer on our house, and now 3 months later, we are finally settled in our beautiful new home in historic Bucks County, PA.

Essentially taking 3 months off, after over 2 years of pretty heavy writing, was somewhat liberating. It gave me a chance to spend more time with my wife and kids, and it also gave me a chance to think about where I wanted to take this site go forward. 

During my “reloading” period (hat tip to Sarah Palin’s father on the post title), I received requests from other conservative writers to post their content on The Conservative Post. Since the founding of this site, I have been the only writer. This site has been a true reflection of my conservative view point, and Reagan conservative principles… essentially the first principles of our founding fathers.

Leaving the site with stagnant content for almost 3 months however was not at all what I wanted… I need to ensure that if I can’t write, others have the ability to post conservative content on the site as well.

So, I’ve decided to open up the site to syndication of the work of other conservative writers…. especially newer, younger voices of the true conservative movement. I am not at all interested in writers who essentially reflect Republican talking points. I am interested in giving true conservatives another venue to publish their work, and I will allow a link back to their original post on their sites within the content as well.

I believe this slight change to The Conservative Post will ultimately make the site a better, more effective ,venue in promoting our conservative principles.
