Comrade Obama is getting nervous. Oh, no… not to look at him, or listen to him speak… he still delivers a decent speech. But is anyone really listening anymore, other than his die hard Obamabots?
With Democrats getting trounced in last months elections, and a host of polls showing Comrade Obama’s approval ratings at the lowest ever for a first term president, Team Obama is clearly shaken. This from Fox:
Obama’s 47 Percent Approval Lowest of Any President at This Point
President Obama’s job approval rating has fallen to 47 percent in the latest Gallup poll, the lowest ever recorded for any president at this point in his term.
Jimmy Carter, Gerald Ford and even Richard Nixon all had higher approval ratings 10-and-a-half months into their presidencies. Obama’s immediate predecessor, President George W. Bush, had an approval rating of 86 percent, or 39 points higher than Obama at this stage. Bush’s support came shortly after he launched the war in Afghanistan in response to the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said he doesn’t “put a lot of stock” in the survey by Gallup, which has conducted presidential approval polls since 1938, longer than any other organization.
“If I was a heart patient and Gallup was my EKG, I’d visit my doctor,” Gibbs said in response to questions from Fox. “I’m sure a six-year-old with a Crayon could do something not unlike that. I don’t put a lot of stake in, never have, in the EKG that is daily Gallup trend. I don’t pay a lot of attention to the meaninglessness of it.
Wow… Gibbs seems a bit too defensive, eh? Yeah they’re scared.
So what’s a statist to do??? Distract! After a full year of doing everything they possibly can to destroy any chance at private sector job creation, trying to snuff out Capitalism in America, and ramping the unemployment rate up to over 10%, losing over 4 million jobs… he now all of a sudden wants to talk job creation! I’m not making this up… Obama, a man who has never held a real private sector job is now talking about creating jobs…
So they roll out a hastily arranged “Job Summit” a few days ago, but don’t actually invite anyone from the private sector that actually has experience in actual job creation. Then they roll out Obama today to give yet another speech, but finally this time about job creation, and get this… he actually says that America needs to spend our way to prosperity! Really! This from the AP:
Obama urges major new stimulus, jobs spending
WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama called for a major new burst of federal spending Tuesday, perhaps $150 billion or more, aiming to jolt the wobbly economy into a stronger recovery and reduce painfully persistent double-digit unemployment.
Despite Republican criticism concerning record federal deficits, Obama said the U.S. has had to “spend our way out of this recession” with so many people out of work but insisted he was still mindful of a need to confront soaring deficits.
Mindful of soaring deficits? Wha..what?! He quadrupled the deficit in one year! He’s heaped another trillion dollars on the debt in the boondoggle spending plan he called a “stimulus”, and he’s trying to ram down our throats another 2-3 trillion dollar socialized medicine plan… but don’t worry he’s mindful of the deficit.
The American people are on to this guy… they know when they get laid off at work, that they have to cut spending. It’s what companies do when they see tough times ahead. No sane person thinks they can spend their way to prosperity when they are drowning in debt… except Comrade Obama.

Here’s the bottom line… Obama is about as credible on job creation, as Tiger would be on preaching the value of marital fidelity.
