Santa Reid Leaves Big Pile of Steaming Dog Poo in Our Christmas Stockings

Despite massive opposition from the American people, Harry (dumber than a rock) Reid and the rest of the Statists in the Democrat Senate, walked off the political cliff today by passing an unconstitutional government take over of our healthcare system.
Apparently nothing would stop the single-minded Reid from sticking his finger in the American people’s eye, including lying about the massive costs, double counting medicare savings, breaking Senate rules, and forcing Senators to vote on a bill that not a single one of them read.
Let’s me pose this rhetorical question… if the Central Planners in DC really wanted to make sure that their government takeover of 1/6th of the American Economy was really a sound plan, you would think that they would at least have all Senators read the massive 3,000 page bill before they voted to pass the damn thing, wouldn’t you?
So much for “change”! Comrade Obama’s mantra of change has proven to be yet another hollow political promise to get past the election. The man has yet to keep a single promise he made… no wonder his approval rating among the American people are at an all-time low for any president at this point in their first term.
So here’s the good news… this battle is by no means over… in fact, it’s just beginning. We need to make sure we really let our representatives hear from us on this massive government takeover. Make sure you tell them that we don’t need another $2 trillion dollar spending program that will pass a massive burden onto our kids and grand kids. Tell them that you don’t want another bloated government bureaucracy wasting your tax dollars and telling you what type of medical care you can and can not have. Tell them you don’t want them to make massive reckless cuts to medicare that will hit those least able to defend themselves, the elderly.
This stinking pile of dog poo still has to be reconciled with the House bill, and still has to pass both chambers again. Make sure you contact your representative over the holiday break (numbers and email addresses are on our Contact Congress page) and make your position clear… they will listen if we can make it impossible for them not to!
